Roving Ranger

Summer 2019

The Roving Junior Ranger Program is a self-guided, interactive tour of several locations in metro Atlanta.  The tours took place at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area in Cobb County, Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park in Kennesaw, Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area in Lithonia, Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park in Atlanta, Panola Mountain State Park in Rockdale County, Sweetwater Creek State Park in Lithia Springs and Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain.  After completing the program at each site, kids will earn a badge and a sticker for their Roving Ranger Passport. After kids earn all seven of their Roving Ranger passport stickers, they will receive the “Roving Ranger” Emblem of Honor.
